Ángel Fabián Di María ( Spanish pronunciation: [ˈaŋxel faˈβjan di maˈɾia] ; born 14 February 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right winger or attacking midfielder for Primeira Liga club Benfica and the Argentina national team . Known for his technical ability, agility, passing, and vision, Di Maria is widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation.
